Panasonic created a gem of a oven with this type! My husband and I used to dread cleaning the typical conventional oven and the Eiffel Tower style pile up of pots and pans after a meal was a common site for our sore, tired eyes. No more now that we purchased this state of the art combination microwave oven - even my wonderful husband takes delight in cooking now and he's yet to burn a dish! We bought this as we wanted a reasonably priced stainless steel microwave to fit in with look of the kitchen - and the previous microwave was many years old.

I regard Sharp as a good brand and the build quality is fine. I can operate it easily and all the basic and some esoteric functions are there and work very well. Needless to say, it comes very well packed with all the required information.

The only reason that I marked it down to 4* is that we had to buy an anti-slip mat as it moved to easily on the worksurface where it sits.

So if you want a good looking stainless steel microwave that works reliably, with the build quality associated with a well known brand name then give this a try.

Summary : Great combi microwave

I've had this oven a couple of weeks and am delighted with it. It looks really smart and is easy to operate. The instruction manual is clear to follow too. This is my 1st venture into combi ovens so can't compare with any previous experience. I've reheated a pie on micro/grill and was delighted with the result, nice and hot with crusty pastry.

It has a stanless steel interior and is very spacious. The display is large and bright and visible from the other end of a big kitchen.

My only complaint, (and it's just because of what I was used to with my last microwave), the express heat starts at 1 minute, rather than 30 secs.

It seems a good price when compared with other combi's of similar spec. Definitely recommend.

I hate this microwave if you want to just grill something but it resets halfway through and you end up filling your kitchen with toxic black smoke.
