Neat design, very easy to run, and fast cooking. Can be easily moved, not extremely heavy. Quiet operation, lights when cooking. Only features I would like are a lit clock display and a light in the interior as soon as the door is opened. These were features I have had in other ovens. For the money, it is a very good buy and I am happy with my purchase.

This is a good value little unit. The button panel is a wipe-clean surface. Controls are easy to use. For example, to cook for a minute just close the door and press start. Press start again to add extra 60 seconds to the time while cooking. Display is easy to use but some illumination would have been nice if the kitchen is dimly lit. While cooking, the food is of course illuminated in the oven. Includes glass turntable. This is good and changes direction each time you open the door. You can take it out to clean it, but it can be fiddly to get it in the right place on the spindle afterward. Can defrost and cook if you set the right mode for the food inside, but the book could do with more examples of foods and times. The door is hinged at the left and stops at 90 degrees. Door closing is very heavy though, and you need to push it so hard the whole unit sometimes moves on the worktop, and (due to a spring mechanism inside) the door closes with a very loud clunk no matter how carefully you close it. Conclusion: It does plenty for the money, but loses out a little on the plasticy finish (which most microwaves seem to suffer from) and the awkward door.

Microwaves come in all shapes and sizes, but the true value of the microwave is often under-estimated in the modern and traditional kitchen. This model has a very powerful 1.1kw grill element which I first tried out on traditional cheese on toast. As a busy professional who requires meals fast I was impressed with the quality and substance of such a simple meal, it was just like the "old-fashion" grill under the oven, but faster.This product is stylish, compact and fits with the decor of most kitchens. I look forward to cooking something more adventurous in the near future and will certainly see how well it performs on pork chops which the manufacturer claims can be roasted in 18 mins, that will be a "god-send" I am absolutely delighted by the speed of delivery from amazon.

Solid, well made, good for microwave or convection oven cooking, top and bottom grills, no more easy or difficult to use (or clean) than any other similar. My last Sharp ran and ran for nearly nine years, looks like this one could do the same. Good saving on high street price, you could do a lot worse.

I have always had Sharp microwaves and, since they have been available, convection. My new microwave, which was ordered on Wednesday evening and arrived Friday morning is about the best yet. I'm delighted, only took 36hours to arrive and so easy to use.

I chose this oven after extensive research, as I was disappointed with my previous Sharp combination oven. The Panasonic has proved to be excellent. The microwave function is powerful and the Chaos defrost works quickly and evenly. The oven even prompts you to turn the food! My big test of an oven is Yorkshire puddings, and both small and large puddings come out beautifully risen and crisp outside on convection only. Cakes also bake well. The grill is also very quick, although you do have to move items around to get even browning. Convection, microwave and grill can all be used independently or in various combinations, including "turbo bake" - all 3 at once! The controls are easy to use - the only minor point to remember is that if you enter a time without selecting a function, you get microwave full power. There are plenty of programmes for specific dishes, although I haven't tried these yet, and standing times are included in these. There are several accessories with the oven, including high and low circular racks, and two shelves, one wire and one solid. The solid one has proved really useful as a baking tray, for oven chips, heating sausage rolls etc. There are also a glass plate, a metal plate and a spatter guard for cooking fatty items. You do have to remember to use the glass plate only for microwaving, and put the metal plate over it for other cooking functions. The oven capacity is not the largest available, but by using the accessories supplied I have been able to fit in all my dishes easily. A great all-round combination cooker, suitable for both keen cooks and people who like convenience.
