Rating : 5 Stars out of 5.
Summary : EXCELLENT VALUE SHARP R967SLM MICROWAVE
I have been looking for the Sharp R967SLM microwave for some time and Amazon is the cheapest I have found, especially using the free delivery. It arrived within 2 days of ordering, which I did not expect.
The microwave has the biggest capacity and is 1.4cuft (40 litres) most other large family microwaves go up to 1.0cuft. It has many features and two shelves (like in a conventional oven) also included is a double tier round wire rack. It can easily be used instead of a conventional oven especially using the two shelves. I was replacing my other microwave and also needed an oven. I hope to enjoy many years using my new microwave and maybe I can start cooking proper meals!
IF YOU NEED TO REPLACE YOUR MICROWAVE AND HAVE THE SPACE THIS IS THE ONE FOR YOU.
WELL DONE AMAZON FOR SELLING SUCH A GOOD BARGAIN.

Title : Panasonic NNE222M 0.7cuft metallic silver compact microwave
Rating : 4 Stars out of 5.
Summary : Nice Microwave, a little noisy
This microwave is an excelent microwave. The auto-defrost mode is excellent as you can decide what type of meat or bread you are defrosting and how much power you should defrost it with depending on how frozen the food is. The only down side is that it is quite noisy meaning that the usual hum of the microwave is much louder that usual, but if you want auto-cooked, auto-defrosted and auto reheated food then this is a good microwave made by the incomparible Panasonic.

Title : Panasonic NNA724M Metallic Silver Combination Microwave, 27L, 1000w, 1300w grill
Rating : 5 Stars out of 5.
Summary : An excellent microwave
I bought this microwave to replace my old fashioned basic microwave/grill, and it is fantastic. It has microwave, grill and convection oven functions, and I use all of them. I only have a single oven in my kitchen, so this really helps when I need two ovens for a complicated meal.
The other function I really like is the 'Chaos Defrost'. This function means you select the category of your frozen item, then enter in the weight, and the microwave calculates the defrost time and does it for you. It really works - defrosting things without cooking the edges.
I noticed that the slightly bigger version (which I wanted, but it wouldn't fit on the worksurface) which has two shelves, is listed in Feb 06 Good Food magazine, as one of the five examples of microwaves out at the moment. They list the 'Chaos Defrost' as particularly helpful.

Nice microwave but it does not have a stainless steel cavity as described...Apart from that I am sure its fine and good value for money.

Title : Sharp R254SLM Compact Solo Silver 20L 800W Touch Control Microwave
Rating : 2 Stars out of 5.
Summary : Over spohisticated and unreliable
This machine has too many fancy features that look useful in the shop but have never been used in practice. No great thought seems to have gone into the design, e.g you can't clear any programmed time with the door open, you have to close it first and if you switch the machine off and on again you have to set the time before you can microwave your ready-meal. And the display packed up on my machine about 14 months after purchase.

Title : Sharp R898WM Family White 26L 900W/1850W Double Grill Convection Microwave Oven
Rating : 5 Stars out of 5.
Summary : Does what it claims
Solid, well made, good for microwave or convection oven cooking, top and bottom grills, no more easy or difficult to use (or clean) than any other similar. My last Sharp ran and ran for nearly nine years, looks like this one could do the same. Good saving on high street price, you could do a lot worse.

Title : Hinari Lifestyle MX731SSEG Easi-Tronic 0.7 Cu Ft Microwave Oven 800W with 1000W Grill Stainless Steel
Rating : 3 Stars out of 5.
Summary : Hinari Lifestyle 800w
A great looking stainless steel microwave which is not at all bulky and can fit easily under kitchen wall units. Performs well but in my opinion is not easy to learn to operate unless you have the instructions beside you.
There is no seperate defrost or reheat button. These functions are operated by repeatedly pressing power button several times to take you to the power level required.
This microwave lacks a quick start user guide printed on front face and for this reason I would certainly not recommend it for someone who is looking for an easy to control microwave.
