Rating : 4 Stars out of 5.
Summary : Nicole
I bought this because it was the largest microwave I could find. I wanted to get a really big bowl in for a recipe I use regularly and no other micro was big enough. The capacity of this one is gigantic, I can easily fit in the largest Pyrex mixing bowl I have.
I was not really interested in the combi grill part but it works really well, (baked potatoes are not soggy). I have to say I have not experimented too much as I have two Neff ovens that I use day to day so I don't think I have explored its full potential. I did try cooking crumpets with the quartz grill, rubbish results, so it does not replace the toaster.
The microwave is really powerful and I have successfully nuked the butter to a clarified swamp on several occasions, but the MS ready meals come up a treat.
The blurb says that it replaces an ordinary oven... not in my view.. it's an as "well as gadget" not an "instead of".

Title : Panasonic NNV623M micro browner 1.0 cuft metallic silver family size grill oven microwave
Rating : 5 Stars out of 5.
Summary : Panasonic NNV623 Microwave
The microwave looks really good in silver. It is of high quality and really easy to use. The chaos defrost defrosts items by entering the item weight and then it automatically calculates the defrost time. It is much faster than a conventional defrost and doesn't start to cook your food. There are also lots of pre-programmed settings for example for jacket potatoes, which enables you to cook things perfectly. Of course it can also be used as a standard microwave, with high, 2 medium and low power settings. The high power is quite powerful and sometimes it is necessary to slightly reduce cooking times compared to those recemmended on packaged food. This mcrowave also benefits from a grill and combination cooking. Overall I am very pleased with the microwave and would recommend it.

Title : Daewoo KOR-63MDC Touch Microwave Oven White 800W 20L
Rating : 4 Stars out of 5.
Summary : Works well, but the timer....
Works just like it says on the box.
Even cooking and simple to use.
Robust and well built.
Annoying fact: The timer is fixed, 1, 3, 5 minutes etc.
So if the Chicken Vindaloo says 4 mins, stir and 4 mins, you end up just doing 5 mins, stir and 3 mins instead because you can't be bothered to clock watch.
Still it does cook exceedingly good Vindaloos....

Title : Hinari Lifestyle MX708TCSL Touch Control 0.7 Cu Ft Microwave Oven 800W Silver (Chrome Door Handle)
Rating : 5 Stars out of 5.
Summary : CHEAP BUT EXCELLENT
This microwave was an impulse purchase and I was rather suspicious that the cheap price would mean bad quality. OK so the microwave door doesn't close with an expensive 'click' - but one can deal with this when the rest of the product is excellent. Easy to clean, easy to use, great value; better than my last microwave which I paid a great deal more for!

Title : Hinari Lifestyle MX731SSEG Easi-Tronic 0.7 Cu Ft Microwave Oven 800W with 1000W Grill Stainless Steel
Rating : 3 Stars out of 5.
Summary : Pretty but flawed
I should start by explaining that I kept this microwave for all of one day for reasons that will become clear, so I haven't really had the chance to rate it's effectiveness in cooking.
Unfortunately, my Hinari MX731 arrived with a defective fan, which made a loud knocking noise from the very first use (as if catching on something internally). Amazon were their usual efficient selves in accepting it back for a refund, though. What this says for build quality, I don't know - I probably just got a defective unit.
The unit looks fantastic - neither large nor particularly small, the stainless steel all over finish looks more expensive than the price tag suggests, and the button fascia with dial adds some modern elegance (so I feel). The retro 'rod' handle isn't to everyone's taste, but I liked this too and it feels more solid than some more expensive models' equivalent. As others have commented, no stainless steel interior here, so avoid if you're specifically after one.
The weakest point of this microwave by far is the control panel, though. While the dial and buttons operation look great, they are not intuitive to use - selecting defrost etc. can take practice, as some have said. Much worse is that the microwave emits a loud, piercing 'beep' every time the digits on the display alter by one. So, if say you want to cook something for 15 mins., it beeps through each option, then beeps 15 times for every extra minute you turn the dial. So annoying! I don't think you can turn this off, but other users may be able to advise. I know most ovens beep, but at least with touch control, you can usually select increments of '10 mins'.
So, just a summary of first impressions and overall I would say that this is a good value unit, but one that puts aesthetics before practical usage.
